At present, all applicants must be in their first year of a three-year undergraduate course or second year of a four-year undergraduate course of their first undergraduate degree.

We will prioritise candidates who have:

• A minimum AAA at A level (or equivalent)
• An overall average of at least 63% each academic year of your undergraduate degree (not applicable to first year students). Modular attainment must be included in your application to be considered.
• Have a strong motivation for commercial law
• Are from a background under-represented in the commercial legal sector
• Meet one or more of the following criteria:
• Attended a state school in the UK (or since 14 if previously educated abroad)
• Were a UK student and were in receipt of free school meals between the ages of 11 and 16
• Have spent time in local authority care
• Came to the UK as a refugee or asylum seeker
• Attended a low performing school or college
• Lived at age 16 in an area with a low rate of progression to higher education and/or with a high level of socio-economic deprivation
• Grew up in a household where no parent or guardian had attended university
